Joe Callura Oldies Shows, Tom Jones Tribute Shows performed with band or backing tracks; Single Stage; vocalist/performer Single Joe Callura's stage presence is second to none, displaying explosive energy, glittery costuming, humour and most importantly an ability to reach out and touch his audiences. From his early years Joe was found to have pure raw vocal talent as the principal vocalist in school choirs to fronting rock bands and orchestras. Along the way he had his own banquet/bar band, "Breezin' with Joe Callura", for some 15 years but most notably performed on weekends in the late 60s in his home town at Hamilton's hottest dance club (Club Continental), where he first started to perform as a Tom Jones tribute artist, while at the same time supporting himself during his school years. At the young age of 19 Joe turned down an RCA Victor recording career in favour of finishing university, which ultimately led to a professional accounting degree as a Chartered Accountant. To this day he runs his own full time public accountancy practice by day but continues to be a professional vocalist by night. This strange combination has been the subject of television episodes on programs such as the CTV National News and the Rogers TV Prosperity Show as well as numerous newspaper and magazine articles. In 1994, after a long hiatis, Joe was invited to bring his Tom Jones routine out of the closet and to perform it in a high level Legend show in Toronto, after which he was immediately invited to appear at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas. Since then Las Vegas has been a regular stop for this performer as well as other US and Canadian cities. Locally Joe has performed in such prestigious venues such as Roy Thompson Hall in Toronto and Hamilton Place. His Tom Jones act has become a popular product for numerous Legend Show promoters. In that Joe performs some 500 songs of various artists spanning diverse vocal styles such as Bocelli to Bee Gees, he has evolved as an accomplished general stage entertainer, although he continues to be best known as one of the world's premier Tom Jones tribute artists. Additionally he has created his own show, "Simply Entertainment", which showcases many of the other performers that he has met along the way as well as himself. Most recently Joe completed his first recording called "Love From Many Angles" which offers 12 original songs of varying styles. Whether you want to hire Joe to perform his solo Tom Jones act, his solo Vegas Vocalist/Entertainer act or to engage him to put together a full legends based show, the resultant entertainment product and related cost will be catered to your personal budget. For the smaller budgets Joe vocalizes live to pre-recorded musical background tracks and for the larger venues he uses live bands ranging from 4 pieces to as much as a 13 piece orchestra. "Powerful", "Emotional" and "Wide Ranging" are just some of the terms used to describe Joe's vocal talents. It has been regularly commented that "your voice sent chills running down my spine". His stage presence is second to none, displaying explosive energy, glittery costuming, humour and most importantly an ability to reach out and touch his audiences. After seeing one of Joe's energetic performances YOU will be exhausted. View Details

Jeff Eager Soul, Pop, Funk, Rock Single Versatility is the defining trait of Jeff Eager’s talent. The character and range of his voice, expansive skills on guitar, bass, and keys, and his approach to song-writing and arranging seem to move effortlessly through genres. Soul, rock, funk, pop, R&B: Eager knows and combines all these styles with authenticity. Add to this a commanding stage presence radiating experience and charm; it’s clear why Jeff Eager has secured a reputation as one of Canada’s most dynamic artists. As a touring and session musician, Jeff has had a career of experiences across the continent from Halifax to Hollywood, and overseas. He performed with Canadian vocal star Elise LeGrow at the 2018 International TED convention in Vancouver, and did a European tour opening for pop legend Rick Astley. Eager has performed on stage with rock icon Lenny Kravitz, backed up Larry Gowan of Styx, and worked with many Canadian stars like Gary Beals, Arkells, John Orpheus, and Shakura S’Aida; as well as performed at Toronto’s historic Massey Hall with Epic Eagles. In 2014, Jeff Eager independently released his first album, Bonavista, with supporting shows at the TD Jazz Festival, Burlington Sound of Music Festival, Trius Jazz Festival, and as a guest star at Sean Jones’ Soul in the City at Casa Loma, Toronto. In 2023, Eager released his second full-length studio album, titled 2070. With several years of life and career experience between his original works, Jeff is bringing a different perspective to his art this time around. Chasing no trends and leaning strongly into the timeless artists that influenced him, this album is a wealth of classic song-writing: strong melodies over moving progressions, rich instrumentation and arrangements, plus plenty of hooks. Jeff is leaving a contribution today to the golden age of analog music with an album that sits comfortably in a record collection next to Prince, Hall & Oates, Elton John, Earth Wind and Fire, Supertramp, and Michael Jackson. Fans got hooked on this new material with a series of singles: a feel-good summer bop (written for his daughter): I Don’t Care For What’s Out There; a somber yet funky piece of soul music called Joy; and a bass-heavy, horn-filled funk/soul tribute called The One that was featured on Hockey Night in Canada. Recently, Jeff visited the CityTV studios in Toronto to perform the ironically danceable I Don’t Dance Anymore on Breakfast Television. 2070 is live on all streaming platforms now, and is also available for purchase on limited edition 12” vinyl.
